More birds seen from the veranda this afternoon. The somewhat dark photo is, I think, a Varied Triller.
The other two photos are of Eastern Whipbirds, with the adult being in the bushes, with a pronounced white face, and black head, and an almost never seen Juvenile on a rock.

Favourite images of 2022: easy to hear hard to find is the Eastern whipbird. I nominate its song as an icon in the sounds of the OzBush. Caught this guy gleefully hammering away at a paperbark dislodging insects for lunch.

The King Parrots are back! And this male is getting getting used to me and learning to call for seed.
