Almost a year after #ING left (and disrupted) the mobile banking market in the #Philippines, #RCBC finally accepts online local cheque deposits, other than their own.

That was actually my second favorite feature with the old ING app. First, of course, was their high interest rates in deposits -- the highest back then.

I don't think most @pinoy@fedia.ios care about this feature, so I'm (pleasantly) surprised they added it.

#EastwestBank had this for a while now, so that's two from small(er) banks.

Just now, I read that the #neobank #Komo that operates in the #Philippines offers one of the lowest fund transfer rates in the local market:

* free via #Pesonet

Komo is the digital banking arm of #EastwestBank .

Also, In case you never heard, Eastwest offers one of the best forex rates, too.

#EastwestBank announced that their mobile app now supports local cheque deposits.

This was favorite feature for the soon-to-be defunct #ING app, and I'm glad there's alternative to physically going to the bank.
