Open letter to EFF,

Hi @eff,

We are concerned that #AmazonSidewalk might be designed to create a #closedCorporateInternet.

If we are going to go down the route of a #meshNet then the #technology must be open. This means #openHardware (in so far as #circuitry that is #printable).

What #Amazon is creating is a disgrace to an open and supposedly free society.

We are considering whether a recall of their #AmazonRing, #EchoSpeakers and other products should be enacted.

They say nothing motivates people to work as #slaves like #war does.

This also, conveniently, would motivate the rollout of superfast wireless networking systems. We know #Amazon made their #EchoSpeakers and #Doorbells public recently. A test case for a #corporateControlled meshnet?
