Hintergrund ist der #CyberResilienceAct (#CRA), dieser verpflichtet alle Entwickler*innen dazu für ihren Code finanziell zu haften. Dank schwammigen Aussagen ohne Ausnahme. Wer einen Code kostenlos weitergibt muss ggf. ähnlich oder gar mehr haften als kommerzielle Firmen, die ihre Kunden zahlen lassen.

And: I didn't remember that it was so hard in #macOS, getting #Eclipse to recognize a local running #ssh agent. But at no point in time I spent a serious thought on switching to a windows vm. 😅👍🏻

I'm looking forward to the moon landing attempt tomorrow of the ispace HAKUTO-R craft carrying a Tomy selfie camerabot and a 4-wheeled rover. There are great photos already from the lander, presently in lunar orbit at 100km up. This Earthrise was taken this afternoon when the moon was causing an eclipse in Australia; if you look closely you can see the dark eclipse shadow on the Earth's image. :-D

While not totally not jealous of those who witnessed it in #Exmouth, I did get to see a partial #solareclipse from #Perth. Weather was perfect and a nice little crowd gathered at the local playground where #telescopes (with solar filters) were set up. The first picture is a tricky snap through the eyepiece where you can make out some #sunspots. Second was when a jet passed over leaving a #contrail but if you look carefully there's a lens reflection revealing the extent of the #eclipse. Nice!
