I've learned to calculate #Eigenvalues and #Eigenvectors 25 years ago and got a perfect grade.
However, I never understood, why we were learning this.

I'm not sure, but maybe the K in K- #QuasiConformal is the same as the #ConditionNumber:
$$K = \frac{\max_k{|\lambda_k|}}{\min_k{|\lambda_k|}}$$
where the $\lambda_k$ are the #Eigenvalues. That gives me a bit more of an intuition I suppose...
Now to try to get #maxima to calculate it for my particular functions of interest
