My latest series watch: ‘The Lying Life Of Adults’, adapted from the Elena Ferrante novel (which I haven’t read). I like to hear the Neapolitan dialect, as it’s quite a rarity- on screen. Valeria Golino is the star of this for me. There are the familiar themes around class, womanhood and a preponderance of vile male characters but I wasn’t quite as into it as ‘My Brilliant Friend’.

Es un popurrí rarísimo entre fanear con La amiga estupenda, comentar temas de actualidad mundial y repasar las opiniones que la autora ya ha expresado muchas veces acerca del feminismo. Me ha sorprendido que evitara, de hecho, la única pregunta más literaria.
