I checked out Cybersecurity Canon but could only find a single Hardware Hacking book in their list. I'm looking for books about Pentesting Hardware, a general overview about embedded software security or even some general Cybersecurity books, if the contents transfer well.

I never appreciated how diverse different people's conceptions of software can be until I met a programmer who didn't even want to understand the math our algorithm did, much less develop improvements to said math.

He was brilliant at communications protocols and signaling type stuff, but throw in the slightest whiff of control theory and he'd immediately check out.

The thing is, we made an excellent team because of how well we complemented each other. I miss him.
