Today in “awful developer experience” features:

It turns out that the #emberjs template linter (`ember-template-lint`) by default puts a 60-day expiry on all of your exclusions… meaning that, say, exactly 60 days after someone imports a bunch of templates that don’t have the precise stylistic rules the linter wants, CI is going to break, and it’s not going to say anything like “un-ignoring 60 todo rules because of expiry”; it’s just going to pretend those rules don’t exist.

#EmberJS is so darned frustrating.

Oh right. First I have to figure out what demonic combination of #EmberJS and #incompetence will allow me to actually refresh the data for the parent route, instead of just acting like it did. I have not missed this stupidity at all.

I mostly just lurk on Twitter but am still using it for communities I haven't found here or elsewhere yet. Mostly #soundersfc #mls but it's the off-season. Also #emberjs folks even though I'm not really working in that framework anymore. They're just good people.

Today on the Android Twitter app I had 4 app crashes in a row in like 30s just trying to reply to a tweet, or then just trying to post a new tweet complaining about the app crashing. Uninstalling. F that.

I think premature adoption of typescript can hurt your existing #emberjs application. Get your team on the same page first.
