One key point coming very soon is #embodiment of AI in #automatic #auto-poietic systems, systems that have needs and take care of themselves.

We may think we don’t want to do that, because when you have that, all the components intellect like ours needs to rise exist

But we might still create sex robots, setting a path for emergence of that.

Aha! moments relate to the interconnectedness and flexibility of semantic memory networks. ⚡💡

Very interesting work by Simone Luchini and colleagues. 👍

One thing that got me thinking though is that so many Aha! moment studies use word puzzle tests. 🧩 This disadvantages people who use their environment for generating sudden insights, rather than memory search.

I'm thinking its time for a new research line! 👨‍🔬

My two year anniversary of lifting was last week so I’m officially not a “newb” anymore (although that’s a squishy range for how many years a beginner can get big gains). Weightlifting has been a huge part of me living in my body (instead of slightly to the side of it, as is my wont) and feeling some sense of ownership and empowerment in embodiment. For me, a lifetime of obesity/overweight combined with internalized homophobia early on into a toxic mix. #Weightlifting has been kind of miraculous psychologically. #gay #QueerBodies #Embodiment #Obesity
