The same city & police that provided endless services to invaders over weeks was very quick to remove a memorial to their convoy role . Truth is a problem for politicians and police ,so it had to go.Never even honked.

Weapons, mischief charges withdrawn against Coutts , woman who hosted Joanne Person, protesters during blockade.

There was also an order of forfeiture in relation to a .22-calibre rifle found in Person's home.

No comment on why the charges were dropped.

On Feb. 1, 2022, Person drove a pickup truck through an RCMP blockade into oncoming traffic, crashing head-on with another vehicle.

The OPP decided to focus on clearing the Ambassador Bridge first, which was themore urgent problem. Once that was done, they and the Ottawa Police cleared out the protest in Ottawa. The timing had nothing to do with the invocation of the #EmergencyAct .

When the inquiry reports, we'll see who's right.

I hope to hear a summary statement like "The EA was absolutely necessary because the USA and the World were watching to see if Canada was strong enough to end the trade blockades quickly. Failure to do that would be catastrophic to Canada's trade relations for years to come. Using the EA was the ONLY tool the PMO had to act immediately.
