People whom perceive that #AI can be, or is "alive", evidently don't comprehend what life is ([evo] #biology ).

They're anthropomorphizing & they're not aware of the affect it's having on their #perception .

AI is mimicry. AI isn't #intelligence because intelligent has agency. AI has no motivations. It does as it's #programmed. What some misperceive as learning. Learning has agency.

#QuantumMechanics also wasn't conscious, until, #EvolutionaryBiology developed #NervousSystems. << that is the #EmpircalEvidence based #logic .

However, some will disagree, using more speculative grounds.
