Annie is already accomplishing great things here at VEOC headquarters. They’ve found us “super friendly” and particularly enjoyed a one-on-one with departing co-founder Don Jamison where they learned our history, including VEOC's “years in the attic.”

Just saw the news that #GardenersSupply founder #WillRaap recently passed away at 73. Gardener's is definitely one of Vermont's "flagship" #EmployeeOwned companies, and Will started the process very early in the company's life.

If we took our $ away, they’d change real quick. I keep asking around #Mastodon if we can get a marketplace here so we can spend our $$ in the econ of our choice. Maybe we just need a #coop #EmployeeOwned #Craigslist w tags that’s easy to search. Yes, we should consume less. but we’re not getting away from commerce. let’s own it.

A #SmBiz, #EmployeeOwned, decentralized marketplace is exactly what we ought to be championing if we want to achieve #EconomicJustice and disrupt the foundations upon which maga paranoia rests. We can't achieve #EconomicJustice by taxing all corps and giving the $ away from the federal govt. administration of that would be horrible and fraught w questions of fairness. It should be done by a citizen's take-over of the market from the ground up -- by prioritizing worker-owned businesses. 4/
