Celebrating the completion of my WiP by being lazy AF today and indulging my mindless forays for random entertainment while ignoring the laundry.

I'm growing pretty obsessed with the "So-and-So song in X number of languages" that Disney's posted -- at least for 'Encanto'. I *love* 'Encanto', btw, but seeing the celebration of how diverse the planet is by weaving so many languages in one single (flawless) video warms the cockles of my cold, black heart.

I shared one video before, and since it's a VEVO vid (read: cannot be shared as an embedded video), I'll just post the link to it. It's the one song that, apparently, most people who've seen the movie relate to (understandably) -- judging from the comments.

Kid’s movies are such fun 🙂 Encanto, Mummies, and The Mitchels vs the Machines. Hanging out with 7 a year old means I get to see these! Although I could watch them on my own I suppose.

lol I love this fan theory that in #Encanto, most of Bruno's prophecies are just normal observations that are then taken as being divinely inspired. This didn't even occur to me when watching it, but that adds up and it's hilarious.

Has-been, inaudible, générique, abjecte, hypocrite… il me faudrait un dictionnaire remplis de superlatifs pour décrire #Encanto au bout d’un second visionnage. Chapeau bas à Disney qui s’est surpassé dans sa propre médiocrité avec cette formule habituelle, cette fois ci dans une ambiance colombienne, qui a été poussée à l’extrême où vivre dans une magie aliénante vaut visiblement mieux que d’accepter la différence comme il se doit. Mon divorce avec Disney est définitif (stop ce massacre).
