BL Touch clone seems to be broken :( #Ender3Pro

Babysitting a #TPU print on my #Ender3Pro #3D printer. Definitely a #LoveLanguage. It is a part for a Nerf-style blaster for my son. 18 minutes in and 43% complete. So far, so good.

Okay, #3DPrinting community, please explain:
Leveled my #Ender3Pro for PLA printing at 190/60 degrees. All good for a lot of prints.
Switched #PLA for #PETG.
Leveling the bed now for 220/80 degrees means I need to RAISE the bed so it's properly spaced from the nozzle.

Why?

Heat-expansion would make me need to LOWER the bed, no? Why do I need to RAISE it?

Got some severe ringing in the X dimension of my #Ender3Pro #3DPrint|er. Not fun 😠
