I wanted to let everyone know my dad passed peacefully at home yesterday surrounded by family, after a 14-year struggle with Alzheimer's. I wrote his obituary this morning. We'll formally celebrate his life early next week.

Alzheimer's is like what they say about bankruptcy: it happens gradually, and then all of a sudden.

Today will be my dad's last Father's Day. After a 10 year struggle, hospice advised recently us the end is days away.

Please be thinking of us as we say goodbye.
