It's been a bit since I played #Endwalker, so I actually forgot who Vrtra was and had to look him up.

I like this kind of emerging theme of "Hey WoL, you need to start considering what you're dragging your friends into with this stuff."

I thought there was going to be some kind of secret "they were tempered all along" because of hiding the sister. Some kind of "ah yes, they were a threat, or they were a lost cause."

Nope. Just messed up from the catastrophe they just witnessed, and completely skeptical of people claiming to be saviours. Influenced by their society to hope for better. Just utterly broken people. Their story is done.

I've been spending more time playing #FFXIV since I got some game-time for Christmas, and I'm mostly trying to be more present in going through #Endwalker.

I have a hard time paying attention to deeper reading sometimes, and it's meant that it's harder for me to become as attached as I'd like. But I'm back, and I'm trying, and I hope it "takes".

Even on his cozy Island Sanctuary, Darlec still has flashbacks to his time on the moon. The events that unfolded. And when he even takes a glimpse at it, sometimes in his mind the moon turns red again, and that horrible voice hisses, "Ahh.... at last! I've found you!"
