This shows that it is economically viable to replace natural gas and coal with sources that don't burn fossil fuels. I still think that the US needs to put more of a focus on the modernization of the electric grid, though. If all of the best solar comes from the Southwest, how do we get it to Maine? If all of the best wind comes from the Gulf of Mexico, how do we get it to Illinois?
