Researchers at MIT say they've figured out a way to create cement supercapacitators using affordable and readily available materials that could transform buildings, roads, and other infrastructure into energy storage systems that could make on-demand power from renewables affordable worldwide.

Lead acid batteries are now "banned" in Nova Scotia for static storage systems.

Its a stupid regulation that hurts local business as some of the best lead acid batteries are manufactured here, but I doubt that the current government will be quick in revising the regulations, they are too busy blaming Trudeau for everything.
