The #Entorrhizomycota are a crucial element to understand the evolution of #Fungi.
Supported by several DNA markers and microscopical, cellular structures (septal pores, spores, cell walls, spindle pole bodies), the #Entorrhiza group is clearly a member of the #Dikarya.
