Reading the Dasgupta Review and thinking: This. This is what was wrong about my Introduction to Environmental Economics class. It was an elective and the only class I ever failed (twice, actually). Despite studying harder than for any of my other classes. The second time I took the exam, I was so frustrated by the bullshit that I wrote next to a question involving a fisheries model "this is not how ecology works!" Predictably, I failed.
