My Pixel 6a is on the way to Poland again. Thankfully Google have this time agreed to replace the device. But it took going full Karen to get them to do it. If I had sent it in for repair again on a 10 working day turn around, with Christmas in the middle, I'd have been lucky to see it again before 2023.

That phone is clocking up more air miles than me this year. Such an #EnvironmentallyFriendly process. Must be costing Google a fortune in shipping.

My Google Pixel6a has a broken charging port. I don't know how it's happened. I'm always careful with these things and it's only ever had one USB-C cable connected.

Thankfully Google cover this under warranty. The process so far has been to DPD me an empty box, and my phone is now going via DHL to Poland. Presumably they will then send me a new one rather than repair it.

This doesn't seem the most efficient, #sustainable, or #EnvironmentallyFriendly of systems.
