This is an obvious pattern with #GOPasshats: #KevinMcCarthy attacks #EricSwaldwell as a politician of the Democratic Party and some knuckle-dragging idiot sees this as a sign to threaten that politician and his family with violence, rape and murder.

This lack of basic #civility and readiness to violent threats are unacceptable and need to be sanctioned. And yes: there need to be consequences not only for the perpetrator but also for the instigator.
