Autor*in Elnaz Farahbakhsh las aus ihren Texten über die Befreiung von einengenden Normen. Neuköllns Bezirksbürgermeister Martin Hikel und der Theologe Patrick Schnabel diskutierten über #Religionsfreiheit im öffentlichen Raum. Daneben gab es Puppentheater und am Schluss Jazz mit dem Dotschy Reinhardt Trio.

Eritrea is one of the poorest countries and #Russia's main ally in the #UN. The last presidential elections in Eritrea were held in 1993, there is total censorship of the media and there is no independent court.

It's over 5m tall, about 1,700 years old, and has the oldest Ge'ez inscriptions known, along with symbols of the sun and moon.

It was found broken by the Deutsche Aksum-Expedition in the early 20th century, repaired under Fascist Italy, broken again in 2001 during the Eritrean-Ethiopian War, and once again repaired. Wonder how it broke the first time.

The worsened human rights situation in #Eritrea requires continued monitoring. This is why the EU led this resolution. The principle of sovereignty does not free states from their obligations under international human rights law and international humanitarian law.
