Musk assured European leaders that Twitter will comply with European regulations. However, it is doubtful that he will accept all the constraints of the European rules and that Twitter will have the concrete means to comply with them.

@naomiohreally it‘s policy in the Green group to treat the GEA that way, with varying degrees of success though (still, the result is (much?) better than with other groups, I believe).

You should find some insight into GEA‘s usage on each Green MEP‘s website.

From 2015-2019 were also trailblazers when it come to declaring lobby meetings (and our system was much easier to use than the one employed by the EP this legislature).

White Collar Middle Class Professionals who fear the hard right need to be careful.

So far in election after election (France being clearest example though relevant to UK, Germany and U.S.) the centre has held out against the fire right by left wingers coming out and rallying the vote.

This is driven by a fundamental fear of Neo-Facism and seeing the centrists as the lesser of 2 evils (Better the enemy you know)

But what is our reward? The further implementation of the capitalist Neo-Liberal Ideology? Anything slightly smelling of a true left wing being quashed by the main stream media.

Pretty soon the left won’t come out to vote and we will have a hard right candidate coming to power.

Why? Because people are frustrated! They are losers in this ideology and they are left to make do with what they can.
And whilst the hard right is given breathing space without their most extremem outright racists statement condemned thoroughly the left is routinely attacked and demonised (Young people wanting free money)

The left block then won’t come out strongly for the centrists but fail to materialise, because why should they continue voting in a system that routinely puts the hard right against a so-called centrist driving their own ideological extremes

What is the result? Well Italy of course. People who have had enough going towards the hard right, the left fails to materialste after being effectively put down and the Center simply offering nothing inspiring other than more of the same.

So the question is do the middle class simply prefer the hard right to the hard left as the lesser of 2 evils (calculating that their liberal values are out of step but their economic security is secured)?

Or do they truly fear the hard right and are not seeing that Their neo-liberal ideology is propped up by state (Police) and cultural (media) institutions?

In both cases we need to develop a genuine left wing alternative to the current state that cares for People and Planet and if given space can present a true challange to the hard right.

However in the first case we would need to become even more vocal and driven in taking on the institutions of state who drive the current ideology and in the second case the liberal middle class must use its lever on the modes of production and power (soft and hard) to allow a peoples response to our challenges.
