@gbraad Would it be up to the national governments to enforce a potential block of #X / #Twitter‽ If so, I see some nations in the #EuropeanUnion 🇪🇺 who would refuse to comply.

I believe #Hungary 🇭🇺, #Poland 🇵🇱, #Italy 🇮🇹 & maybe #Spain 🇪🇸 would object to a ban (& may not even enforce it). I could also see #ElonMusk tying up a X/Twitter ban in courts (although he is starting to not paying lawyers like #Trump so #Musk may not receive many legal offers for representation).

@gbraad Yeah it sucks that #X / #Twitter is still the fastest way to contact politicians or state agencies in the #UnitedStates 🇺🇸.

I believe the same is true for #Europe as well, as I noticed the #EuropeanUnion 🇪🇺 did not target X via the #DMA which I assume is out of fear of #ElonMusk (they need him for #Ukraine 🇺🇦 via #Starlink).

#Musk is the type who would retaliate by either shutting down government accounts on X or threatening to cut off Starlink.
