Sayit and Feride Demir, who crossed the #Evros River to seek asylum in #Greece, were pushed back to #Turkey by the Greek police. Sayit Demir was arrested and sent to Edirne Prison in Turkey.

#NewsAlert: The Greek goverment has approved and given an green light in extending the #Evros border further with another 35 Kilometers to combat illegal migration from coming into #Greece from #Turkey, if the the border fence is complete it will be an total length of 80KM long.

Please Greek authorities rescue these people trapped in Evros for two weeks now. The Strasbourg court granted an interim measure as their health and lives are at risk!
