I don't think we need any of the #Twitter or #ExTwitter antics here in the #Fediverse.

1. Pay (for a certain definition of "pay", look, it just doesn't work the same way when you deal with that kind of money) 45 billion USD for a social media network with enormous brand recognition.
2. Make a series of baffling decisions that drive away most of the major advertisers and many users.
3. Rebrand the network to the stupidest thing in the world, thereby DESTROYING THE BRAND RECOGNITION YOU JUST PAID (sorry, "paid") 45 BILLION USD FOR!

I’ve reported posts where people have manipulated my photo in a sleazy way, two others where I’ve been called a name, a few others where it’s clear I’ve been harassed.
