I've found having large amounts of materials for extra range synthesis to be more efficient than lots of spare fuel sloshing about.

So although on paper might have 2-3 jumps I've actually got more like 6 jumps.

I've always advocated small fuel tanks for this reason when exploring. Despite the "kgbfoam" problem, in reality I've never needed more than 2-3 jumps of fuel...

It’s official… Controllers at #NASA #JPL were unable to communicate with the #InSight #Mars lander after two consecutive attempts earlier this month, which means the solar-powered batteries have run out of juice. Simply put, the lander is dead. After conducting years of unique and incredibly valuable science, NASA officially retired InSight today. Below is its final image. Good night, sweet prince.
