Was directed to this work-in-progress by a fellow around the corner, as we were both taking pictures of a recent mural in , lunchtime today.

And OMG, glad I went to have a sticky-beak!!

Such elegance forming here. Accompanied by leaves, perhaps some roses and plenty of !!

I’d suggest this gorgeous piece is about halfway complete and the detail (face, neck, arms, fingers, surrounding scene etc) will take the longest to complete; will be painstaking. Just guessing.

I can see this coming along beautifully, with shading and more depth to come. This will look absolutely breathtaking once complete.

Justine, the creator of this emerging masterpiece took a little time out to chat to passers by and me. This accomplished artist is a marvel to speak to and you can see why she’s an angel who paints from the heart. Just wow and… gosh!

how Fourier transforms and methods are intimately related to . What was missing from the picture is how a tool for numerical integration could be used for numerical differentiation.

If you think about it, Fourier transforms are also expressed as integration over an interval in space. When you differentiate a function it only affects the basis. For example:

exp(ikx) -> ik * exp(ikx)

1/2
