Team personnel will no longer been seeing waving their drivers home from the pit fence after the #FIA have confirmed they will be enforcing Appoebrix H of the regulations which prohibits people climbining on the pit lane fence

It is understoood they will still be allowed to stand at the holes in the fence

The directive was introduced last year to force teams to raise the rise heights of the cars to deal with the proposing issue which had become a safety concern

It's been joyful and amusing in equal measure to see #F1 fans young and old learn that Jean Todt, ex #ScuderiaFerrari team principal and ex- #FIA President is partnered with #MichelleYeoh.

Yeoh and Todt have been together since 2004. They are not married but have been engaged since 2008.

On Sunday, Yeoh won the #Oscar for her portrayal of Evelyn Wang in the critically acclaimed "Everything, Everywhere, All At Once".

In an interview with the #NewYorkPost during Red Bull Racing's livery launch in New York, team principal #ChristianHorner has defended the #FIA's amendment in the International Sporting Code limiting certain driver speech during GP weekends.

Horner: "F1 is not a political sport and it shouldn’t be used politically. We’re a sport; we’re a form of entertainment and a form of escapism from some of the sh^t going on in the world.”

@CrackedWindscreen I think that's a fair question that deserves an answer. Here's what the FIA said at the time when those measures were implemented:

"The #FIA unequivocally condemns the #Russian invasion of #Ukraine, and the support provided by #Belarus.
The decisions of the WMSC represent the strong commitment of the #FIA to stand in solidarity with the people of #Ukraine, the Federation Automobile d’Ukraine, and all of those suffering as a result of the
ongoing conflict."

An amendment was made for Russian / Belarusian drivers who hold dual nationality. They may now compete under the ASN (National Sporting Authority) of the other nationality that is not #Russia or #Belarus, keeping in mind they must still adhere to the #FIA's principles of peace & neutrality.

Example: A driver holds citizenship in Russia & Belgium. They can now compete as Belgian w/ the Belgian flag on their firesuit, display Belgian colours & have the Belgian anthem play on the podium.
