I am very disappointed that one of the #FAs to bow to #FIFAs demands to not wear the armband is the #FAW. They did put out a statement that, whilst happy to pay fines as a result of wearing it, they were not willing to risk Welsh players being booked or 'forced to leave the field of play' however. FIFA is clearly strong-arming FAs and should thus take the brunt of criticism IMHO.

This is frankly bizarre and wrong on so many levels. Even if we accept #FIFAs nonsense logic, the issue is presumably contractual not sporting, so there is no case for a booking under the rules of the game.
