I haven't done, or seen, a technical evaluation of it it lives up to that promise. But Mozilla's effort is not even tackling the same problem domain as #FLoC.

Слушаю я новости о недавно анонсированной системе обнаружения нелегального контента (цп?) на айфонах, которая использует локальную нейросетку для опознания, и думаю... что это ж почти гугловский #FLoC, только не про рекламу.

Получается, недовольство FLoC среди технарей никого не убедило, видимо подобные системы будут всплывать и дальше.

Il passo di #Google per i sostenitori della privacy è che un mondo con #FLoC (e altri elementi della "#sandbox per la #privacy") sarà migliore rispetto al mondo che abbiamo oggi, dove broker di dati e giganti dell'ad-tech tracciano e profilano impunemente.
