I finally made something! It took me a bit to find my embroidery supplies so I could add the details. I plan to add a teacher's name to the doghouse and then quilt it as a wee wall hanging (it is 8"x12" now and I don't think I will add a border).

I have a hard time making myself use print fabric for FPP, but I really like how the blue squiggly fabric looks as the background for Snoopy.

Today I took back up with Bender (mostly as a reason to escape my family 🙃) and started re-watching the show from the beginning. Having the stack of DVDs in my sewing area made me realize what a good color palette the DVD cases provide for whatever the rest of the project will include.

Additionally, I wonder if I can effrctively modify the cigar block to look like a pen so I can eventually make a wall hanging for my classroom.

I've only done a little foundation paper piecing (FPP) and a bit of English paper piecing. But there's a pattern with super cute *tiny* FPP that would make amazing reusable holiday gift tags. So tempting. #quilting #fpp

Here’s a #quilt I made and finished in April. I used the Foundation Paper Piecing technique using freezer paper. It’s a lap quilt and I gave it to my dad for his #birthday. Finished is good. #FPP #sewing #cotton #singer #featherweight
