Great that @UNDP and Boskalis signed a contract to start the operation in the Red Sea to avoid an environmental, humanitarian & economic disaster. The Netherlands worked hard to mobilize funds for the #FSOSafer operation, and will keep helping the @UN to bring this to a good end.

De roestende olietanker #FSOSafer ligt nog altijd voor de kust van #Jemen met alle mogelijke ecologische en economische gevolgen van dien.

Met Nederlandse kennis en kunde kan deze mogelijke ramp worden voorkomen.

Waar blijft actie voor de verlaten roestige olietanker bij Jemen? Schriftelijke vragen ingediend bij de Europese Commissie.

Frequent oil spills in Shabwa due to damage of supply pipeline, polluted agricultural Lands&Water wells.

On the other side, #Yemen is under a greater threat due to #Safer oil tanker, which could cause a very severe Health & Environmental disaster.
