Right?! If we can’t care for one another, how can we consider ourselves to be a functional society? When we ensure that everyone has a minimum of adequate shelter, nutrition, healthcare, and education all of society benefits; when the ultra wealthy acquire another untaxed million or billion it just isolates more resources from the public access, creates further inequity, and increases the power imbalance.
