Highlights of that #TOTP '88

#FairgroundAttraction are like a fresh breeze, blowing away the cobwebs of dad dancing and chopped-up old soul records. A song you could sing along with, but don't because Eddi does it so much better.

"A love supreme" is the soul classic of the night. #WillDowning sings in a deep bass voice over an exciting jazz beat, and it's a little moment of pleasure. Could listen to a lot more of that, always love a saxy duet.

I just discovered this on YouTube... Eddi Reader is my all-time favourite singer. I got to see her sixteen years ago in a more subdued, intimate setting, but I wish I'd seen her back in her Fairground Attraction days as well. Just... tops!
