This is what you see today inside the #Falta fort, south of #Kolkata. It now houses the families of #refugees who escaped here during the #Bangladesh #LiberationWar.

A little over 260 years ago the same fort played host to another group of ragtag refugees, escaping another war- that of #Calcutta, from Siraj-ud-Daula's army.
