#DirectMarketing #Farm2Fork #HopComs #Karnataka #India The Horticultural Producers' Cooperative Marketing and Processing Society (or HopComs) was set up, promising a fair price for growers and quality fresh food for consumers. But such models need more meaningful government support, without which farmers will eventually turn to private buyers who offer slightly better services and still buy cheap. Either way, it is a lose-lose situation for farmers.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure to visit @EFSA_EU in #Parma.

🤝It was a great opportunity to discuss about possible partnerships and collaborations, with a particular focus on the #EUGreenDeal🌱 and #Farm2Fork strategy🚜.

Biodiversité : lutter d’urgence contre la disparition des insectes

Is there a procedure to prevent an EU Council decision that's been tabled as an A-point?

I understand that an "A-point" isn't debated, it's just rubber-stamped. But is there something like a filibuster to block a decision that was mischievously handled in a way to minimise democratic accountability?

I'm asking because of the Energy Council on the 19th, where a decision with far-reaching implications for the #Farm2Fork and #Biodiversity Strategies is on the agenda as an A-point.
