This house and an old #farmstead was for sale in 2006 when I was exploring some side roads off #hwy101 between #sequim and #portangeles #WA -- for not much money, as I recall -- well under $200k. I walked around the unoccupied property -- an apple orchard and a field. Another case of adding photo #effects that I don't usually deploy -- in this case it added to the ethereal setting -- felt like a portal to the late 19th century. I was kind of falling in love with the place!

One of my winter projects is to improve the wood stove heating situation in the house. I think I have devised a plan to shunt hot air to the upstairs via a short duct from the downstairs living room to the landing at the top of the stairs. With the help of some temperature controlled fans intended for A/V cabinets, I should be able to move close to 140 CFM of air. How long it will take to implement is an open question.
