They were shot in an act of reprisal by a notorious torturer, Renato Tartarotti, head of the "CAS" auxiliary police squad.

#FascistCrimes — 262 Serbs were massacred by the Ustaše in Croatia's #Jasenovac death camp over 3 days as of #Otd 1942.

Most victims were transported from Sarajevo by the Ustasha (who had the support of the Nazis & Italian #Fascists) in December 1941.

Very few survived.
