In addition to working on some extensions, I started toying with Neutralino to see about making a proper #FeatherWiki desktop app! Theoretically, it'll produce a smaller executable than Electron, but we'll see!
While working on some new extensions, I realized I should probably be minifying the extensions served from the #FeatherWiki website! Once I get some more extensions finished, I'll be updating all of them to reduce their size a little.
Thanks to @notimetoplay and strunevsky on Codeberg for alerting me to an issue with importing an old #FeatherWiki with tags into the new version!
The website and downloads have been updated to version 1.6.2, which fixes this issue!
#FeatherWiki version 1.6.1 has just been released!
https://codeberg.org/Alamantus/FeatherWiki/releases/tag/1.6.1
Along with the fixes listed in the link above, I also:
1) created an auto-save extension for the Warbler build (https://feather.wiki/?page=extensions_auto-save)
2) created a view full-size image extension (https://feather.wiki/?page=extensions_view_fullsize_image) and
3) added static HTML export to the data import/export extension (https://feather.wiki/?page=extensions_import-export)
4) added the Long Term Support wiki to the Gallery page (https://feather.wiki/?page=gallery)
I got a nice little tip for my work on #FeatherWiki from someone who started using it recently! It's always nice to get some monetary appreciation 🥰
If you want to have a one-page wiki, you can try #FeatherWiki @FeatherWiki https://feather.wiki/?
It's about #tiddlywiki but simpler.
And even it can generate non-javascript pages... it looks great

As I'm getting back into things, I figure I also ought to point out that I've got a special "Help Wanted" label for feature & extension requests. If you like #FeatherWiki and are feeling generous, take a peek and see if anything looks interesting to you:

I know the extension docs (https://feather.wiki/?page=development) are incomplete, but the tutorial is pretty good, and I'm more than willing to point you in the right direction if you need help!
(I moved the followers from the old account and consolidated a different account into this one, so if you're here by mistake and don't want #FeatherWiki updates, feel free to unfollow!)

This is the new official account for Feather Wiki updates! All the new version releases, development thoughts, extension updates, and any featured Feather Wikis will be posted here, so if you want to stay on top of everything #FeatherWiki, be sure to follow me here!
If you don't like social media, Mastodon also provides an RSS feed if you would rather follow from afar: https://floss.social/@FeatherWiki.rss
Hmm, I've primarily been using this Mastodon account to boost @updates, and I need a new home for the #FeatherWiki account...
What would you think if I just converted this account into Feather Wiki updates account instead of being yet another backup account?
:boost_love:
@tedcurran you could try #FeatherWiki http://feather.wiki/. It’s based on TW and has tagging. It’s built to be as small as possible and has WYSIWYG editor but you can also use #markdown or HTML

I almost have a working version of the #FeatherWiki Nest server ready using redbean.com (https://redbean.dev). #Redbean/cosmopolitan is a magical little tool!
It's worth mentioning that this update dramatically improves the overall experience of #FeatherWiki on the whole, so it's worth updating ASAP if you use it! 💖
#FeatherWiki version 1.3.1, the #Extension Update #Update, has been released! All Feather Wiki methods can now be accessed from `window` to be modified by custom #JavaScript for infinite possibilities!
