Ich überlege Instanzen zu wechseln oder vielleicht einen Zweitaccount zu machen für mehr queeren Zusammenhalt / weniger Aktivismus.

Daher dann auch eher ne deutschsprachige Instanz..., lesben- und transfreundlich... Am Besten auch divers geführt. Momentan hab ich nicht die Spoons technisch auszuhelfen, könnte mir das aber für die Zukunft vorstellen. Ich zahl gerne monatlich was für ne gut gemanagte Instanz...

Queer.party ist nice, aber die lokale Timeline halt sehr unfokussiert und ich warte immer noch auf die aktuellere, weniger problematische lesbian flag... :/

Do you mean like consciously noticing and #celebrating the day you joined Fedi? We can see that as a nice thing and maybe an opportunity to think about supporting one's #fediInstance.

If you mean algorithmic reminders of toots made years ago. We say leave that stuff on the #dotcons, whose business model is consuming ppls time and energy.

Finding older toots is what #hashtags are for.

If one doesn't have the skills to setup a #fediInstance, don't run an instance. Especially don't entrust CloudFlare to set it all up, and then to effectively have them #spying on you and your friends.

We will be blocking the official CloudFlare instance (cloudflare.social) at the first opportunity, and in all seriousness it ought be 'a thing'.

I'm struck by similarities of the #Fediverse & the #LiquidDemocracy #experience:

The #network of #federation & #defederation in the #Fediverse, & the #tree of #delegation|s in #LiquidDemocracy show some remarkable extend of #analogy.

For example, when a #FediInstance decides to #block another #instance, then this is conceptually similar to breaking a #ChainOfDelegation in Liquid #Democracy by a person in the chain redirecting her #delegation or withdrawing it.

Quite right. Currently #searchEngines don't respect #TheRightToBeForgotten and its just a shame actually.

Legacy search engines also are good at 'picking and choosing' what they will return. So if you want a more complete #search, you *may* be better off #searching from a #fediInstance

Oh we see. We thought Fedi was toots, lol. Well, maybe if everyone agrees they are posts and db reflects "posts" then its a good thing to introduce? What is of extra interest to us is what other things might #fediInstances be able to deliver?

Eg. Signed /merge-request/ or /patch/ etc?

In fact, if Fedi instances could be set to adopt a #patch in its own db after an update, it could make the whole 3402 problem go away.

Just brainstorming. We're not #fediInstance experts in any sense.
