Contrary to most people I consider ANY interaction of people online to be an example of social networking. If you consider that, this goes *way* beyond where corporate #SocialMedia are, and also way beyond the extent that current fedi apps are duplicating their functionality.

As for the #ActivityPub #FEP process.. anyone can and *should* contribute here if they can, so that we might move in the direction of this diversity and heterogenous nature of our #FediverseFutures.

@hollows Maybe the discussion should be NOT what corporate entity should we cede fandom to, and instead become how can we support federated servers so that we can continue to have free fandoms.

Maybe there should be a foundation to support the infrastructure of federated servers so that we don't feel tempted to go back to corporate instances. #fandom #fediverse #fediversefutures #fandom

I just signed up for a federated wiki! currently testing at #XWiki at @wakest. Thanks @NGIZero for supporting the fediverse and making cool stuff like this a bit more financially viable for folks to spend their time working on. #fediverse #FediverseFutures
