My new post about Fedora IoT remix will go deeper into utilizing Gitlab CI to build your OS updates from a git repositories commits automatically.

It was quite a journey getting all the tech to play nicely together. Many more specifics and complexity then anticipated.

Unfortunately this probably won't work "out-of-the-box" on the gitlab instance of your choice. Had to hack some runners together.

I've published a new post on my tech blog on using RPM-OSTree-Engine to build and maintain your own Fedora IoT Remix fairly easily.

A remix basically allows you to ship your own configuration of Fedora IoT from a git repository to all devices you've setup.

E.g. you could maintain a dedicated Fedora IoT as Pi-Hole distribution.

This is a real fun journey so far :awwwblob:

I've continued my blog (after roughly three years - yay!) with a post on my current custom Fedora IoT journey :bash:

is a minimalistic, nifty targeted for a wide variety of different hardware (architectures) that I use at work as well as on my Raspberry Pis at home. I'm having a lot of fun working with this beautifully designed OS (slightly opinionated there) which I'm going to share with you :blobheart:
