The first of a planned series on #FeedingOurFuture. I'll be looking at how groups have or might come together in support of #FoodSystems which are healthy, equitable, resilient, and sustainable.

I write here about the #Haudenosaunee (AKA Iroquois) Confederacy. An indigenous people who once thrived where I live, "Upstate" New York.

I also highlight the unique role women played in their communal farming system, economy, and society at large.
