Important update regarding Fidencio Aldama's "freedom":

Fidencio was given a ruling of semi-freedom. So long as Fidencio has to set foot in a prison, he is not free and remains a political prisoner and a hostage of the state.

Semi-freedom means that Fidencio must report to prison every night at 8pm, where he will be held until 8am the next morning. That he must go to work, then to school, and then return to prison, for the next seven years and three months, the time he has left in his 14-year sentence.

Actualización importante sobre la "libertad" de Fidencio Aldama: Fidencio recibió una resolución de semilibertad. Mientras Fidencio tenga que pisar una cárcel, no está libre y sigue siendo un preso político y un rehén del Estado.

La figura de la semilibertad implica que Fidencio acuda todos los días a las ocho de la noche al Centro Penitenciario y se interne, para que salga al otro día a las ocho de la mañana, se vaya a trabajar, posteriormente a la escuela a estudiar y después ingrese nuevamente a la prisión, durante 7 años y tres meses, tiempo que le resta por cumplir de una pena de 14 años a la que fue sentenciado.
