Those of you who use fidget toys how do they help you? Do you recommend using them? Which toys do you recommend using?
I have anxiety so I am thinking about buying one or some

Can anyone recommend a that's like a big bulldog clip?

I mean, I could just carry round a big bulldog clip, but I like to see what's out there that gives similar sensory stimulation.

This is such a bad and blurry image ... but hopefully it's at least clear enough to show what it is!

this is a 15cm fidget toy with a keyring on one end and a (very weak!) carabiner on the other. The core has two knots (a mathew-walker knot and a mandala knot) and a small section of square/solomon/cobra knots (depending on whether you use macramé or paracord terms). The last section gives a slightly ribbed feeling.

Between each core knot is a single-stranded diamond knot (aka celtic button knot and some other ones), which is tied so it can slide in its own little section.

Each of the sliding knots is in a different cord: one is solid glittery, one with a strand of multicoloured tinsel, and one with a bit of reflex.

Still looking for shipping before I put it up in my shop, but it'll be available for $5 + shipping.

I'm hoping others think it looks fun too?

Next to talk about is the sensory slug. This guy is great at home, he's made up of plastic cup-like segments that bend and make a good sound in my opinion. Very flexible and able to go through repeated swirl movements, I impulse bought it at the grocery store after seeing one in a video and the sound just clicked with me

The first I'd like to cover is the ONO roller. it's a very sleek, professional looking fidget that I personally take to work each day

it consists of two cylinders connected at the ends that roll smoothly and quietly in a very satisfying way that requires no focus. I have the stainless steel version which is pricey but the heft of it is wonderful (weighs 15 oz). you can also roll it between your hands or use it as a little massager

normal versions come in different colors and are made from aluminum and there is also a junior roller for those with smaller hands

With all the faffing about with distros, USB booting, and boot menu fixing I decided to treat myself to a better flash drive as my others were either slow or flakey....

One of the negatives on a review for this mentioned the awkward shape would be uncomfortable in a pocket but it appears to actually be an excellent feeling fidget toy for me 😅 it's just so smooth and the curve feels really nice to fiddle with!
