#RPGADAy 24) COMPLEX / SIMPLE RPG you play

Basically, I play every game once, or at least I try to.

I come from #TunnelsandTrolls whose creator was not fully convinced by #DnD, so he developed something more rules-light & narrative. #FightingFantasy is also quite simple. On the other hand, we had a lot of fun with #Rolemaster / #Spacemaster & #Cyberpunk2020. #DnD4 plays almost intuitively in contrast to #DND5. Experience shows that complex systems lead to "boring" rules research/discussions.

#RPGaDay2023 Day 2: First #RPG Gamemaster.

Me! Not counting #FightingFantasy and solo fun with Red Box #DnD, I GM’d before I played. I ran #GamesWorkshop’s #JudgeDredd for some guys I’d never met before. It was a disaster! Thankfully, we moved onto a game run by one of them. I believe it was #ADnD run by Sean. I’m not sure if he’s still a role player as I’ve not spoken to him for a few years ( @snap2grid might know though as he was part of the same group at times if memory serves).

Rules, book 1 done (uses polyhedral dice)
Adventure, book 2 in progress..filling out one of initial five paths

Its a frpg, 4 heroes and one Dragon and its hoard
