The issue with Time Machine requesting the volume's FileVault password to mount when it's already in the KeyChain isn't just a problem with macOS Catastrophe (10.15.7). I just got it with macOS Lyin' (10.7.5). I've always said that Apple doesn't fix bugs unless they negatively affect the stock price or Tim Cook's bonus, but having a bug last for at least 8(!) major releases is pathetic even for Apple.

macos Catastrophe: "I see you rebooted and—silly you—actually expect all your disks to mount. Fine, fine, then you need to enter your FileVault and Time Machine passwords again. What's that? They're already in the Keychain? Of course they are, but I need you to enter to them again because, frankly, the people who coded me stopped learning how to program after Hello World."
Completely installed a 2017 #MacBook 12" from scratch. You have to upgrade from High Sierra to #Ventura.
By default, #FileVault won't be active.
Besides that, fine.
That small 1,2 GhZ Dual-Core m3 CPU is fast enough for many web-centric tasks.
