I love the way #FindMyPast introduced changes a couple of months back, and had to remove them because they didn't work. They have now tweaked the changes and re-introduced them. Of course - they /still/ don't work.

@tarabm in the UK some libraries have free access to #Ancestry and #FindMyPast. Great if you are researching your family history.
2 Feb. I reported a transcription error of my grandmother's surname on the 1921 census to Find My Past. I sent in the suggested corrections using the "Report an error" button on the transcript page on 21 Jan. They replied to say it would be implemented within 72 hours on the 26 Jan. It was updated within 48 hours of that date! Well done #FindMyPast!

I'm pleased that #FindMyPast have corrected the transcription error that I reported and my great grandfather is now recorded as a Glass Cutter rather than a "Gas Butter" on the 1939 Register

I always like to find a relative with a memorable name: my second cousin twice removed, on the 1921 census. #findmypast #ancestry #familyhistory

@munchkinstein Hello, Brian! Lots of my #ancestors were allegedly born near your district. I will never get there to look up records in churches. Thank goodness for #Findmypast and #FamilySearch and FreeBMD and #Findagrave
Much of my ancestry is on #Familypedia.fandom.com.
#Forlong and #Forlonge are among my somewhat elusive surnames of interest - #Glasgow wine merchants around 1800.

#Genealogy. #BrickWall - Annie Gregson K #Haynes born about 1876 in #Chelsea (according to census), md Frank Alsford 1894 at #Malton, #Yorkshire, listed in later censuses with death, burial, and probate records; BUT hours on #FamilySearch, #Findmypast, #Ancestry.com, #WikiTree found no birth record or in earlier Haynes family census. Where now?
